Local risks in Farrukhabad

Tyre-oil factory fire without a fire NOC

Early on 27 October 2026 a fire at a tyre oil-extraction factory in the Khimsepur industrial area took about 10 hours and six engines, with more called from Kannauj and Mainpuri. A fire officer said the unit ran without a fire department NOC, and a fire a year earlier had burned four workers badly.

Ganga and Ramganga floods

On 12 August 2026 officials counted 33 villages and over 23,000 people affected, while ground reports put floodwater in nearly 60 villages. The main road towards the next district was shut with water over it.

Night crashes on district roads

On a Saturday night in October 2024 a truck hit a pickup vehicle in Farrukhabad district, and two people died and 14 were hurt. Pickups and tempos carrying many people at night are a repeat risk on the highway stretches here.

Thin fire cover on the printed list

The state fire station list has no row for Farrukhabad, and the district portal prints only a fire help line. Keep extinguishers in shops and units, a second way out of every floor, and give a clear landmark when you ring 112.
